Midwest wine and food lovers raise your glasses
and toast a decade-plus of wine tasting in Wichita with the
15th annual Midwest Winefest.
Consumers and aficionados alike can “swirl,
sniff, sip and taste” in this
three-day event April 22-24, 2010. The Midwest
Winefest is presented
by Standard Beverage Corporation and the Wichita Chapter
of The American Institute of Wine & Food (AIWF). The
event seeks to educate attendees about wine and its responsible
enjoyment.
Participation is a way for people to help Wichita's
Guadalupe Health Foundation provide medical
care for the city's needy
families who are working, but can’t afford insurance.
In the past fourteen years, the Midwest Winefest has contributed
over $2 million to the Guadalupe Health Foundation.

Thursday, April 22nd
The 2010 Midwest Winefest kicks off with the Old
Town Walkabout,
a food and wine sampling stroll through Wichita’s
historic Old Town district. The Walkabout runs from 5:30-8:30
p.m. Check-in at the Old Town Farm & Art Market Plaza.
All proceeds benefit the Guadalupe Health Foundation. A
limited number of tickets will be sold.

Friday, April 23rd
Participate in various wine dinners around Wichita. All
of the Winefest Wine Dinners begin
at 7:00 p.m. Various pricing for dinners and tickets
will be sold through the AIWF beginning 3/22/10. Call

Saturday. April 24th
The Midwest Winefest continues with the Grand
Tasting and Auctions in Century II Exhibition
Hall, 6:00-9:00 p.m. Now an evening event, attendees will
sample from over 300 different
wines,
enjoy gourmet cuisine from Wichita’s finest restaurants, attend cooking with wine demonstrations, participate in silent and live auctions, and browse vendor booths. Participants will have the opportunity to bid on everything from rare wine to wine dinners to vacation getaways. Tickets
